Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 July 2026

By using ClipCast, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

ClipCast helps you transcribe podcast episodes, generate short clip suggestions, and publish approved clips to your connected YouTube channel (with more platforms planned).

2. Your Account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must have the right to use and publish any content you submit to ClipCast.

3. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Free trials, where offered, are limited as described at signup. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of your podcast content. By using ClipCast, you grant us permission to process that content (transcribe, clip, and publish it) solely to provide the service to you, and only as you direct.

5. YouTube Publishing

Clips are only published to your YouTube channel when you explicitly approve and initiate publishing. You are responsible for ensuring published content complies with YouTube's own policies and terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ClipCast to process or publish content you don't have rights to, or in any way that violates applicable law or third-party platform policies (including YouTube's Terms of Service).

7. Service Availability

ClipCast relies on third-party services (transcription, rendering, hosting) and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant outages.

8. Limitation of Liability

ClipCast is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
